Synopsis

A portrait told through friendship.

From Tangier radio to European studios and jazz festivals, Jacques Muyal built his life around attention: listening closely, earning trust and helping musicians be heard on their own terms. The film centres on his friendship with Dizzy Gillespie and opens outward to an extraordinary circle of artists.

More than a professional biography, it is a reflection on loyalty, memory and the way jazz can become not simply a career, but a way of being in the world.
